Welcome to Pirate Basketball! We are at an exciting time in our program. The renovations to the Lou Ross Center are complete, including a new basketball floor in the Ed Hartsell Arena, upgraded office space, a new film room, and a locker room with Division-I style.
Our schedule includes some of the elite programs in the nation and the Panhandle Conference is yet again the premiere junior college conference. You can get there from here! We have had over 95% of our players receive scholarship offers from four-year schools. We currently have a number of alumni playing professionally including Joel Anthony of the Miami Heat.
If you want to take your game to the highest level, the Panhandle Conference is a league that can showcase your skills against elite talent. The tournaments that we participate in are often attended by a large number of Division-I coaches including coaches from the SEC and Big East.
We can get you to the next step. Our program is based around individual fundamental development and team play. We are going to prepare you on the court to play at a Division-I school. We will also prepare you academically. PJC is one of the top junior college in Florida academically and our academic support network will make sure that you have the preparation you need to succeed at your next school.
The PJC Men's Basketball Program will be holding an open tryout
