PJC’s Accelerated Business program lets you earn the college credentials you need to get out of a dead-end job and into a supervisory position – without giving up your current job.
To succeed in this fast-track program you should be:
- Highly motivated
- Self-disciplined
- Able to work independently
Before you apply:
- Meet with Dr. Linda Bloom, Business Department head. Call (850) 484-2503 for an appointment.
- Bring references demonstrating a minimum of two years of employment.
- Present two letters of recommendation regarding your potential for
success in an accelerated program.
Learning in the fast lane
- All Accelerated Business classes are held on the Pensacola campus.
- Classes meet on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m.
- To complete this program in 16 months, you will attend four semesters: fall, spring, summer and fall.
- Each semester you will complete a 16-week online college credit course at home.
- In the first 8 weeks each semester, you will complete a college credit course that meets each Tuesday and a college credit course that meets each Saturday.
- In the second 8 weeks each semester, you will complete a college credit course that meets each Tuesday and a college credit course that meets each Saturday.
